Wild Goose Van Driver Volunteer

The Wild Goose is part of inHope, and offers meals, hope and support to anyone experiencing insecurities such as hunger or homelessness. The hot meals and practical help offered give people hope at their point of crisis, whilst ongoing support means that they are championed to rebuild their lives.

The Van Driver volunteer role is vital in making sure The Wild Goose food stores are stocked. Van Drivers collect food (using our inHope van) from Costco in Avonmouth in the mornings and deliver it back to The Wild Goose. They then put the delivery away in the store room with the help of staff.

Without the Wild Goose Drivers we would not have the food to be able to give out each day that helps people to not only be nourished with food, but shown love and care.

The time of the volunteering is Tuesdays weekly 9.45am to 12.15pm.

We ask volunteers to be prepared to commit to a minimum of six months volunteering.
