Provisions Team Van Driver's Buddy

The Provisions Team Van Driver's buddy role will be part of our Wild Goose team.

The Wild Goose is part of inHope, and offers meals, hope and support to anyone experiencing insecurities such as hunger or homelessness. The hot meals and practical help offered give people hope at their point of crisis, whilst ongoing support means that they are championed to rebuild their lives.

As a Van Driver's Buddy you will play a vital role in supporting the van driver to make sure The Wild Goose food stores are stocked by collecting food (using our inHope van) from Costco in Avonmouth in the mornings, and delivering it back to The Wild Goose. Then supporting the van driver to put the delivery away in the store room with the help of staff.

Without the Van Drivers and buddy's we would not have the food to be able to give out each day that helps people to not only be nourished with food, but shown love and care.

The time of the volunteering is Thursdays weekly 9.45am to 12.15pm.

We ask volunteers to be prepared to commit to a minimum of six months volunteering.
